Three years ago I was a college freshman and 202lbs I knew of healthy living but wasn’t embodying it. I was even, and still am a vegetarian, yet I still wasn’t considered to be ,“healthy”. I was often was eating far too much of high carb and fatty foods (pastas and cakes) and too few of veggies. I’m glad to say I’m now around a healthy 145lbs and still going.

Growing my natural hair has taught me patience.Three years ago, I didn't know I could go on this journey because of the difficulty associated with maintaining Natural Hair and how expensive it is to keep. Decided to overlook all that and started with things I could still afford at the moment and today I'm glad. I made the decision. And I'm learning my hair daily. My name is Marchina. On the left is me in 2015. I was over 180lbs and had unhealthy relaxed hair. Since then I’ve lost over 30lbs, gained 10lbs of muscle and decided to embrace my natural kinks and curls. I big chopped in March 2017. On the right is me this past March 2018 so this is exactly a years worth of growth.
For protective styling my go to has been braids in the past but I am very interested in trying wigs that resemble my 4b/4c natural hair. I’ve heard great things about you brand and I would love to support and be apart of that.Happy voting!
