Fleas laid eggs ALL THROUGH my thick natural hair!

Hey,
The one time having natural hair was a living nightmare.
I dated a guy who let his cats sleep on his bed next to him by his pillows. When i stayed over i moved their sleeping blanket and took their spot. The next day i woke up with bug bites at the base of my neck and told him to check for bed bugs, we didn’t find any. I thought maybe it was just acne or i was bitten outside.
The next day my scalp is on fire so i oil it, thinking it must be very dry. Then that night my hair was still super irritated so i get my hair supplies ready to take my tracks out and give it a deep condition. That’s when i notice a dead flea on my nightstand on my oil application bottle. I start scratching my head and keep seeing these little white beads falling onto my black shirt...
yeah. long story short, his cats had fleas and they laid eggs ALL THROUGH my thick natural hair and tracks. Don’t judge me for not noticing sooner bc i had JUST washed & installed my hair. There was NOTHING on google for how to treat it because all of the reports of “fleas in human hair” were for straight white people hair.. not how to get dozens of eggs out of coily hair and wefts.
this was the one and only time i wish i’d still had permed, straight hair.
