My natural hair story goes like this; I don't remember the exact date and time it happened, ( I really applaud the people that can still remember) but i can never forget what happened.
I had left my hair in natural braids for so long(2 months!), wearing wigs and flaunting other types of hair. One day, i sat down, scrolling through my IG feed, and after seeing some natural hair DC posts, i realized i haven't washed my hair in ages! I quickly ran to the mart ( My Organic Shampoo and Conditioner had finished), loosed my hair, and started detangling (with my hands) to wash.
My brethren, i thought that was the peak of my problems. Didn’t know that was the beginning. After conditioning the hair, i wanted to comb. Let's come back to the pain later and focus on the fact that literally HUGE chunks of my hair stuck to the comb. Even as i was washing, little chunks were just falling out like snow. I had A LOT of fairy knots and i was so depressed. 'This is someone whole hair!' I said to myself.
I almost cried, but i did that to myself, keeping my hair in natural braids that i never even renewed.
