I had just started growing my natural hair and this was back in high school, so all through the school session I noticed my hair not really growing as I thought it would,so going back on holidays I made some killer braids.
As the next school session was about to start,the braids where already old and I had to take it out, so I didn't really trust my sister to cut the end of the braids without cutting my considerable impressive length of hair. So wat did I do, I asked my momma, worst mistake ever, so she answered me and agreed to cut the end of the braids and take them out for me, and I was like okkkkkrrrrrrrrrr.
So we started I honesty think I should have held a mirror or at like told her where my hair stopped after all it my hair right. She first cut all the ends and I told her I thought she cut too much and she was like no no u are fine,so trusted wat she said,so it was time to take down the braids as she loose the first one the second ,third to the last.
Oh God here it comes and so we were done,I stood up to comb out my hair at the mirror, only for me to meet my hair with its sharp and spikky end,I was beyond pisssed.
She later apologized that it was too late as she already cut the ends of the braids but she made it up to me by buying my natural hair kit and products.
So ladies the lesson of this story 1 takeout your braids yourself 2 never ask your momma to take them out for you just kidding luv u momma. I literary had to rock my afro in school the next session.literary had to rock my afro back to school
