I BURNT my hair off!

When I was in the 7th grade. I wanted to start embracing my natural curls but I didn’t know what products would help my hair to maintain its curls.
I went to the beauty supply store and I saw a brand called mixed chicks. There products were targeted for curl hair girls. I brought the shampoo, conditioner, leave-in conditioner and serum. I tried using the products but my hair didn’t get curly.
I didn’t know what to do with my hair and I decided to flat iron my hair. This was the worst decision of my life. I flat ironed my hair with the curly hair products in my hair and I ended up burning my hair off. I was so upset, I cried and cried and cried. My hair was mid-back length and it burned and damaged my hair to neck length.
Til this day, I can’t grow my hair back to its original length.
