After transitioning for a year, I finally did the big chop! I wore my natural curls and coils for another complete year before deciding I wanted it straightened.
Big mistake!!! Everyone isn’t equipped to do natural hair! The beautician I chose didn’t use a good heat protectant on my hair which caused irreparable damage. I had totally straight hair shafts and ends but my roots were still coily/curly. I was devastated. I had spent so much time caring for my hair and getting it to grow!  To then have to start over, broke my heart!  I had to do a second big chop. Now if I ever want to wear straight (relaxed looking) hair, I rock a wig! 
Below is a picture of me rocking the fabulous kinky straight full lace wig by Her Given Hair. It looks like it is growing out of my scalp! I love your hair and own several units! Thank you so much for the time and patience you put into creating these amazingly, beautiful units!!!
