Yes, you can straighten this hair but keep in mind that just like our own natural hair, this hair is also susceptible to heat damage and loss of curl pattern. Due to this we do not recommend you straightening your hair.

As for the color, it is right that #1B will be closer to balck. Usually 2-3 bundles is enough to achieve a full head look. Since your owne hair is very thick, So i think 2 bundles are enough for you.
